Estate settlements in the Central Province

Image
The Central Highlands is one of the most beautiful places in Sri Lanka that we all love to visit. But despite the beauty of the area, little is known about the settlements here. I'm going to talk about the plantation population in the Central Province. These belong to the category of rural settlements. It is said that these plantation settlements originated in Britain. However, homogeneous workers live here. The blacksmiths as well as the estate managers settled in the settlement. The number of migrants coming to this settlement is low. Most of them are employed in primary jobs and most of them are plantation workers. Apart from that, young people work outside the estates. So I'm trying to say something you 've never seen in this beautiful area, through those estate settlements.

Eagle...❤️

Image
You know, the hawk is not another king of the sky. It's about 70 years old because of the hawk's sharpness, and his lifespan is quite miserable because of his goal. It's because of his sharp claws. Can't because of those curved nails. He makes a decisive decision when he is unable to hunt animals because of his curved claws. That is, he tries to sleep until he dies at the age of 40. He quickly climbs a rock near his cage and rubs his toenail against the toenail until it separates, causing him severe pain as well as bleeding. Live happily for about 30 years. The example we should take from him is that he should never give up and step up to his goal no matter how difficult it is. So let us live with effort, as sharp as a hawk.

Image
Located 10 km from the city. The name of the village is Medara. There are not many houses on either side of the road but it is beautiful because the road is full of trees. The only school in the village is Binkama Maha Vidyalaya. There is a farming based culture in my village which is quite developed. There are also people who pay for the day by farming. School children live in my village with many different challenges.

Injustice to the people of the village due to the officials in various union organizations

Image
My village is Madara Grama Niladhari Division. There are two villages called Upper Medara and Lower Medara. Both of these belong to the same societies. There are various societies in my village. Society organizations such as Dena Samithiya, Rural Development Samithiya and Kantha Samithiya are maintained by the elders in the village. One of the societies in my village is the D / 08-10 Farmers' Association. .There are a bunch of people out there who just do these things. They are the more experienced and intelligent generation. During both the Yala and Maha seasons, this great body of water is distributed day by day to the respective paddy fields. This is due to the far-sighted proposals of the farmers' union officials. They are acting only for their own benefit. Immeasurable.
